Minimum Requirements
Must be 18 or older.
Ability to handle stressful situations.
Effective communication skills.
Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
Desired Qualifications
Retail experience.
Second language proficiency.
Ability to promote trust and respect among associates.
Knowledge of products sold within the department and ability to answer customer inquiries.
Experience offering product samples and informing customers of specials.
Capability to check product quality and maintain freshness.
Ability to label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.
Reporting product ordering discrepancies.
Staying current with special ads.
Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining proper temperatures in coolers.
Reinforcing safety programs and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents.
Practicing preventive maintenance on equipment.
Willingness to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
Responsibilities
Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service and maintain a safe, clean environment.
Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals and oversee established quality assurance standards.

Provide product knowledge and assist customers with purchases, specials, and product quality checks.
Stock, label, and inventory department merchandise and report ordering or shipping discrepancies.
Maintain proper temperature logs and ensure temperature control in cases and coolers.
Identify unsafe conditions, report them to store management, and reinforce safety programs.
Inspect equipment and notify management of repair needs.
Report all safety risks or incidents, including theft or fraud, to management.
Adapt to varying department needs and collaborate with team members to achieve goals.
