Position Overview Are you ready to learn a
highly respected, hands‑on skill
in fine furniture making? As a
Spring‑Up 8 Way Hand‑Tie Trainee , you will be trained in one of the most prestigious upholstery techniques used in luxury furniture. No prior experience is required—just a great attitude and a willingness to learn!
What You’ll Learn
Reading production tickets and interpreting custom instructions
Identifying different types of springs ( lip springs
vs. regular springs)
Using specialized tools: scissors, staple gun, banding gun, webbing stretcher, pliers, clinch‑it gun, and more
Mastering the
knot‑knot technique
to connect spring coils
Completing and scanning finished pieces
Maintaining a clean and organized work area
What We’re Looking For
A
positive attitude
and strong
dependability
Willingness to learn and grow in a skilled trade
Mechanical aptitude or prior experience in furniture manufacturing is a plus
