Job Summary
Full‑time Barista position serving coffee and espresso drinks at the Café & Firehouse Subs location of Roper Hospital, 316 Calhoun Street, Charleston, South Carolina.

Schedule & Pay Schedule: Full‑time, Monday through Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm. Pay range: $17.00–$18.00 per hour.
Requirements Prior barista or food service experience preferred. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
Enter orders accurately into POS device; accept cash and charge payments.
Replenish condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
Greets customers courteously and interacts to ensure customer satisfaction.
Serve customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines.
Demonstrate a complete understanding of daily menu items and explain them to customers.
Assist in the buying decision‑making process by establishing good communication.
Perform other duties as assigned.
