Job Description:
As a Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Rounds, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations to help deter security-related incidents, provide a visible presence, conduct routine patrols, interact with individuals on-site, and deliver exceptional customer service.
What You’ll Do:
Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft attempts, or unusual occurrences.
Assist with controlling access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of activities and incidents.
Support a secure environment by communicating security-related concerns or hazards to supervisory personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Background investigation and drug screen required by law.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistent with applicable laws.
Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
