Job Overview Batching Operator at Niagara Bottling. Position responsible for batching activities as required by production demand, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals.

Key Responsibilities

Precisely inspects, stages, weighs, and mixes ingredients according to product recipes.

Collaborates with Quality Assurance Technician on analytical results and makes adjustments to batches.

Pre‑weighs, blends, and liquefies components for beverage preparation.

Accurately documents lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates per customer regulations.

Performs cleaning and sanitation of batching equipment and fillers.

Operates forklift to load/move ingredients following safety procedures.

Adheres to company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.

Abides by Niagara’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards.

Maintains general housekeeping and quality in all areas of batching, production, and additional areas assigned by leadership.

Assists in other areas as required by plant supervision.

Regular and predictable attendance is essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years manufacturing experience or similar field.

Minimum 2 years experience in similar production role.

0 years experience managing people/projects.

Ability to speak effectively with management and employees at all levels.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability and flexibility to work up to 12 hour shifts, day or night, overtime.

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.

Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Ability to visually inspect product and materials.

Forklift experience.

Preferred 4 years experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.

Preferred 4 years experience working in position.

Preferred 2 years experience managing people/projects.

Compensation Hourly: $23.52 - $31.16.
