Availability requirements:
Part‑time position with weekend and holiday coverage. Availability must be submitted 30 days in advance.
Responsibilities
Acknowledge and greet all residents and guests promptly and courteously.
Manage guest/visitor access, evict trespassers or violators when necessary.
Verify credentials of incoming and outgoing individuals or vehicles.
Document and maintain a log of visitors and notify residents of their arrival.
Protect personnel and equipment while enforcing policies and procedures.
Detect and prevent vandalism, theft, or other criminal activity.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms.
Patrol the perimeter (interior/exterior) to identify potential safety and security risks.
Warn violators of infractions (e.g., loitering, smoking, prohibited items).
Respond to distress calls, alarms, and emergencies such as fire, injuries, or unauthorized individuals by contacting local first responders.
Report any safety or security concerns in a timely manner.
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of required documentation (reports, logs).
Enforce all rules and regulations.
Perform any other duties as directed by management.
Qualifications
Minimum age 21 or older.
High‑school diploma or equivalent.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
At least one year of customer‑service or security experience.
Ability to pass background and drug screening.
Physical ability to crawl, crouch, climb stairs, kneel, run, sit, stand, stoop, and walk for extended periods.
Other Information Salary: $21.50–$30.64 per hour (Kansas City, MO).
