Description Are you looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity where your work truly makes a difference? As a Part‑Time Cleaning Person, you’ll play an important role in keeping our Grantsville, MD facilities clean, comfortable, and welcoming. You’ll be responsible for maintaining offices and living quarters during evening hours (typically 4:30 PM–9:30 PM, Monday through Friday) with occasional weekend shifts as needed. With two to three weekly cleanings and approximately 20–30 hours of work per week, this position offers a steady schedule and the satisfaction of creating a safe, tidy environment for others. What You’ll Do
Empty waste bins or similar receptacles, transporting waste material to designated collection points
Sweeping floors with brushes or dust control mops
Mopping floors with wet or damp mops
Suction cleaning carpeted areas and spot cleaning carpets
Dust, damp wipe, wash or polish furniture, ledges, window sills, external surfaces of cupboards, radiators, shelves and fitments
Replenish consumable items (soap, toilet rolls, paper towels)
Clean toilets, urinals, hand basins, sinks, baths, and showers
Working Conditions
Must be able to bend, reach overhead and climb stairs
Must be able to lift 30 lbs unassisted
Must adhere to and follow all health, safety and environmental standards
What You’ll Bring
High School Diploma is preferred
2+ years of relevant work history
Ability to work independently
Reliable transportation
2 or more professional references
