Job Description As an Airport Security Officer – Cargo Patrol in Kailua Kona, HI, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure airport environment by monitoring airport premises, conducting security patrols, and enforcing access control procedures. Position Type: Part Time – Morning/Afternoon Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 05:30 AM – 02:00 PM Sun 01:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Requirements
21 + Years of Age
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
Must also have the ability to pass a federal background check for DOT

What You’ll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the assigned location, including the business and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or government personnel as required.
Assist with access control, verifying identification and/or credentials as needed, in accordance with site‑specific guidelines.
Complete detailed written reports and documentation on security‑related incidents and daily activities.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal and client personnel to help to maintain a secure environment within the government facility.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
