Job Title
Service Cashier / Food Service Worker (Full‑time)
Location Ascension – 1670 St. Vincent's Way, Middleburg, FL 32068. Online applications only.
Schedule Tuesday through Saturday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. Full‑time schedule.
Pay Fixed rate: $15.00 per hour.
Qualifications
Previous cashier or food‑service experience preferred; willingness to train.
Ability to perform essential functions of this position.
Job Summary Operates point‑of‑sales system, assists the chef, prepares coffee, and keeps cashier and coffee stations clean.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Helps prepare foods such as meats, vegetables, baked goods and desserts; also prepares catering orders.
Performs cashier duties using the POS system.
Performs general cleaning duties; removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
Provides service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
Processes cash accurately, maintains receipts, makes deposits at the end of each shift.
Inventories and restocks supplies and food products.
Sets up serving line and monitors temperatures; notifies cooks if temperatures are out of range.
Serves hot and cold items to customers.
Sets up items for purchase on a daily basis.
Keeps refrigerator stocked and verifies first‑in, first‑out rotation.
Stocks pantries with correct par levels; records replenishment on floor‑stock form; records refrigerator temperatures daily.
Performs other duties as assigned.
