You will be front‑center helping our customers by repairing, replacing, and installing garage doors. You’ll put customers at ease, ensuring they fully understand the service options available to get the job done correctly.

Your Responsibilities as a Door Installer

Diagnose and repair – Repair garages, door operators, replace worn or broken parts, install new equipment including doors, and replace springs.

Educate the customer – Explain options and results so they fully understand the work performed and how to prevent future issues.

Sell service, repairs, and new equipment – Using our proven model, you’ll sell services through a good/better/best approach and collect payment.

Manage inventory in your vehicle – Maintain the right tools, equipment, and products to serve customers efficiently.

Basic Position Requirements

Mechanical aptitude and technical skills is a plus (not required).

Must be able to lift 50 pounds independently.

Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods.

Must work in heat and cold, inside and outside garages that may not be temperature controlled.

Have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with customers and solve issues.

Communicate and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Be reliable and able to follow our process while serving customers.

Knowledge

Experience in the garage door industry is preferred but not required – we provide training.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet; you cannot be afraid of technology.

Ability to use hand tools and operate mechanical equipment.
