Job Title: Courier/Swing Driver/DOT-3

Courier/Swing Driver/DOT-3 .
Responsibilities
Operate company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pickup of packages.
Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
Perform related customer service functions.
Execute other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education High school diploma/GED.
Minimum Experience Six (6) months of courier experience preferred. Must demonstrate area knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to maneuver packages >50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance.
Good human relations and verbal communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
Minimum age 21.
Ability to read and speak English to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic officials per FMCSA guidance.
Job Conditions
Neat appearance required due to customer contact.
Must meet and maintain qualifications per federal motor carrier safety regulations.
Requires medical exam per FMCSA or FAA regulations.
Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license per state requirements for assigned vehicle type and maintain a good driving record per policy.
Non-covered safety-sensitive position.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain safety.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum age 21.
Consistent ability to lift 50 lbs.
High School/GED Diploma.
Valid Driver’s License consistently held for past 2 years.
Successful completion of Federal Drug screen and background check.
Pay Transparency Starting Pay: $22.30 per hour.
Additional Details Full Time Swing Driver / Monday–Friday / Hours and shifts vary by route and day / Travel may be required.
