Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. Is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. Requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. Builds skills and expertise in his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. Required Skills
Must have experience in developing Collibra workflows. Must have experience in developing Collibra integrations using REST APIs. Ability to leverage Collibra APIs to automate processes. Must have experience in Groovy scripting to create and enhance Collibra workflows. Basic understanding of Database, Data warehouse and SQL concepts. Experience designing various integrations around Collibra (e.g. design integration with other tools such as Alation, other Data quality tools, etc.). Preferred Skills
Good knowledge of Data Governance and Metadata concepts. Must have design/development/architecture experience in Collibra and NOT end‑user experience using the Collibra platform. Experience working directly with business/IT partners to gather the requirements related to the metadata use cases including Collibra workflows and integrations. Ability to articulate the use cases and the solution. Ability to create the Collibra Operating Model based on the organization structure within Collibra. Ability to enhance Collibra Metamodel. Build and establish Business Glossary and Data Dictionary in Collibra. Connecting to various data sources with Collibra. Ability to analyze issues and provide solutions. Collibra certification – Ranger is preferred. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Highly desirable: Alation. Life at Capgemini
