Security Officer - 1st / 2nd Shift (Full Time) – Forest City, IA

Pay Range:
$18.00/hr – $18.00/hr (base). Actual pay depends on skills and experience. Responsibilities
Conduct foot patrols at assigned sites. Interact frequently with client employees and guests. Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity. Perform access control duties – processing trucks, visitors, and employees. Carry out other tasks as required for the assigned site. Benefits

Minimum age 18 years. High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED within 6 months. Basic computer and technology skills. Customer‑service experience preferred. Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus. Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills a plus. Professional interaction with diverse individuals. Strong attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift. Rapid and effective judgment in emergency situations, with appropriate escalation. Willingness to participate in the company’s pre‑employment screening (drug screen and background investigation). Ability to work at a fast‑paced truck gate.
