Overview
We are looking for a childcare provider for a bright and energetic 15-year-old who has special needs, along with a psychiatric disorder. This role will involve planning community outings, providing transportation, engaging in de‑escalating tactics as needed, and providing 1:1 supervision. Location & Schedule
Location: Kaukauna, WI. Schedule: Part-time, As needed. After school start time 1:45 pm, Weekend start time 10 a.m. Flexible scheduling is available. Compensation
Wage: $17.98 per hour. Responsibilities
Plan and execute community outings. Provide transportation to and from outings. Engage in de‑escalating tactics as needed. Provide 1:1 supervision. Provide a safe space for community exploration. Spot clean bathroom and household surfaces (take out garbage, replace toilet paper, etc.). Qualifications
Driver’s license. Reliable vehicle, willing to use personal vehicle for local travel only. Experience working with adults or children with complex needs (mental health, developmental disabilities, autism, ADHD, ODD, etc.). Willingness to learn and accept coaching. Ability to pass a Wisconsin Caregiving Background Check. Proven dependability and commitment to providing care for children and adults with special needs. Application Instructions
