Security Guard Position Summary Responsible for carrying out the program of the Medical Center by maintaining a safe, secure condition in and around the hospital buildings and grounds, and protecting patients, employees, visitors, and their property.
Security Guard Position Requirements Education
High School Graduate or G.E.D.
Experience
One‑year prior experience in law enforcement, fire, or security‑related job preferred.
Must be able to successfully undergo a comprehensive background and character investigation.
Valid driver’s license and verification of insurability under TidalHealth automobile insurance plan.
American Heart CPR certification.
Security Guard Benefits
Eligible based on specific hours worked: at least 36 hours per pay period on a 12‑hour shift schedule or at least 37.5 hours for non‑12‑hour shift schedules, and part‑time members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only.
