Job Summary The Exterior Cleaning Attendant is responsible for maintaining the grounds outside the Cambria Detroit Hotel complex.
Duties / Responsibilities
Sweeping and power‑washing sidewalks, entryways, and other exterior areas.
Shoveling snow from sidewalks and entryways.
Removing trash from exterior areas and disposing of it properly.
Cleaning exterior windows and glass surfaces.
Cleaning the parking garage and ensuring it is free of debris.
Setting up, arranging, or removing decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, or scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets or meetings.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities
Detail‑oriented and thorough.
Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards.
Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant, friendly way.
Education and Experience
Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and to communicate about job‑related needs.
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in basic English preferred.
The ideal candidate will have experience in outdoor maintenance and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods standing and walking and frequently pulling, pushing, and bending.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
