Job Summary As a Lot Attendant at Crown Motors, you will be responsible for maintaining the dealership’s vehicle lot, ensuring that the display area and vehicles are clean, organized, and in optimal condition. You will assist the sales teams by managing vehicle inventory on the lot, supporting vehicle deliveries, and providing general upkeep of the lot to create a positive experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
Lot Organization:
Arrange vehicle inventory on the lot, ensuring a clean and organized display that meets dealership standards.
Move and park vehicles in assigned areas, ensuring easy access for customers and staff.
Ensure vehicles are aligned and displayed according to dealership layout and sales team instructions.
Vehicle Preparation and Detailing:
Clean, wash, and vacuum vehicles for display and customer delivery.
Conduct visual inspections of vehicles to check for damage or maintenance needs.
Assist with fueling vehicles and maintaining proper fluid levels.
Inventory Support:
Assist with tracking vehicle inventory, documenting the arrival of new vehicles, and confirming vehicle locations.
Update vehicle displays with promotional materials, window stickers, and pricing.
Report any issues or irregularities with inventory to management.
Customer Service Support:
Greet customers warmly and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member.
Assist customers with vehicle pickups and drop-offs, ensuring smooth handover experiences.
Support the sales team by providing quick and efficient vehicle retrievals for customer test drives.
Lot Maintenance:
Ensure the lot is clean and free of debris, including sidewalks and parking areas.
Remove snow, leaves, and other weather-related obstructions from the lot as needed.
Regularly check for and report any safety or maintenance issues on the lot.
Maintain the Car Wash with supplies and clean working areas.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
Basic knowledge of vehicle care and maintenance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards customer service.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, and reaching.
Comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Working Conditions This position requires working outdoors and being on your feet for most of the shift. Occasional weekend and holiday shifts may be required based on dealership needs.
