What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Assist lead instructors in teaching Red Cross Learn‑to‑Swim programs
Engage with swimmers to create a fun and effective learning environment
Support the planning and execution of swim lessons for various age groups
Learn valuable skills in lesson planning and co‑teaching for future leadership roles
Ensure the safety and comfort of participants in the water
What is Required (Qualifications)
Must be at least 14 years of age
Interest in working with youth of all abilities
Ability to swim 25 yards of all six strokes to a Level 4 standard (or willingness to learn to this level)
Comfort in deep water (up to 12 feet)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Previous swim lesson experience or experience working with youth
