Job Title: Service Porter
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Service Porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for customer service. As a Service Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring our service area operates smoothly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist customers as they arrive for vehicle service appointments.
Move and park vehicles in a safe and organized manner within the dealership premises.
Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the service area, including waiting rooms and external spaces.
Perform vehicle checks and inspections, documenting any findings as needed.
Assist service advisors and technicians by providing necessary vehicle support and information.
Maintain inventory and organize tools, equipment, and materials used in the service department.
Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are followed when handling vehicles and equipment.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing any customer concerns and relaying them to the appropriate staff members.
Support the efficient flow of vehicles through the service department.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to operate both standard and automatic transmission vehicles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
