Lodgco Hospitality is seeking enthusiastic front desk agents to assist with guest service operations at the Home2 Suites by Hilton - Nokomis/Casey Key! If you are committed to delivering outstanding guest service and hospitality, we are excited to hear from you!

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for serving guests at the front desk while providing the highest level of guest service in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Perform guest registrations (check ins & check outs), room assignments, and specialrequests

Understanding of daily hotel operations, policies, procedures, and internalrules

Knowledge of Brand’s operating systems and Brand’s customer loyaltyprograms

Familiar with guest rooms, locations, amenities, features, and all other servicesoffered

Knowledge of room rates, packages, discounts, andpromotions

Ensure proper credit when checking out guest(s) and handle late chargesaccordingly

Knowledge of cash handling and bank procedures to check out allguest(s)

Bank out at end of shift by following dropprocedures

Answer phones, handle mail, and takemessages

Assist guests with problems and questions; ensure all guest problems areresolved

Knowledge about the city, local area, andattractions

Utilize spare time for cleaning (i.e. front desk, back office, common areas) and maintaining sidewalksand frontentry

Know all emergency procedures and the proper action totake

Operate safe depositboxes

COMPETENCIES:

Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced position with constant guest interaction

Excellent communication, both verbal and written

Strong computer skills and phone etiquette

Must be able to multi-task

REQUIRED/PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Hotel or customer service experience is preferred

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Satisfactory criminal background screening required - Valid driver’s license with safe driving record may be required

SUPERVISORY RESPONSBILITY This position has no supervisory responsibilities

PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate, listen, stand for long periods of time, ability to walk, kneel, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This position requires variable hours based on the needs of the hotel including nights and weekends.
