Server - National Park Inn - Summer Seasonal

Check patron identification to ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage service requirements. Maintain pleasant dining experience by serving food and beverages in a friendly and efficient manner, checking on guests regularly, communicating with the kitchen, and attending to guest needs. Perform setup/clean-up duties before and after each meal service including vacuuming, arranging furniture, and changing linens. Performs such other related duties as directed or required.**SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE** Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred. National Park food service experience preferred. Ability to learn and use food service POS system including computerized cash register and credit card terminal. Mathematic skills.Strong customer service abilities; actively looks for ways to assist customers and coworkers. Ability to recognize and solve guest problems as necessary or communicate to management when needed**PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS** Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment. Ability to stand for the entire workday and climbing steps regularly.

Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English. Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties. #J-18808-Ljbffr
