Heavy‑Duty Kitchen Steward The primary responsibility of the Heavy‑Duty Kitchen Steward is to clean all stoves, ovens, grills, and other kitchen equipment correctly and thoroughly. All duties are performed in accordance with TBC departmental and client policies, practices, and procedures.
Deep clean all kitchen equipment safely, correctly, and thoroughly in accordance to TBC standards.
Performs all tasks as per the standards.
Operate the industrial dishwashing machine and other industrial cleaning equipment.
Move equipment around to supply the various areas of the food and beverage department.
Use of industrial strength cleaning chemicals required.
Able to multi‑task and be a team player.
High standard of cleanliness and safety guidelines.
Sweep, scrub and mop floors, pressure clean as needed.
Transport garbage to compactors/recycling.
Follow directions from the Executive Chef.
Additional tasks as assigned by management.
Comply with policies and procedures of the department or section in order to complete service satisfactorily.
Proper performance requires some physical and mental dexterity in order to accomplish tasks associated with the completion of the service.
Completion of a task or assignment requires use of equipment, tools or systems related to the proper performance of the service.
Consistent and regular attendance is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Qualifications
21 years of age.
High school Diploma or equivalent.
Must maintain a professional, neat and well‑groomed appearance adhering to Company appearance standards.
Must be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
1‑year experience with kitchen cleaning in a restaurant or banquet facility preferred.
Must be able to obtain a health card.
Must be able to work with others, communicate well, and follow directions.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending and kneeling without restriction, work indoors and be exposed to various environmental factors such as, but not limited to CRT fatigue, noise, dust, cigarette smoke.
Must be able to work in a fast‑paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina, proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with management, and team members.
Ability to lift or carry a minimum of 50 pounds, unassisted, in the performance of specific tasks assigned.
Must be able to touch and handle supplies in a safe and non‑hazardous manner, maintaining proper hygiene, cleanliness, and disposal methods.
