OHM Concessions Group owns, operates and manages restaurants in airports across the United States. We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and a fun work environment.
We are looking for an experienced barista who can brew a great cup of coffee and help us provide an exceptional customer experience for our guests. The ideal candidate is committed to the job, shows initiative in enhancing the coffee shop’s reputation, and is an excellent salesman and a great team player with a knack for problem solving and attention to detail.
Qualified candidates must be skilled in using various coffee preparation techniques and coffee brewing and grinding equipment; they must also be able to cater to guests’ needs, upsell when appropriate, and build long-lasting customer relationships.
Flexible shifts and schedules available. Full- and part-time positions are available.
Responsibilities & Duties
Ensuring customer satisfaction by catering to guests’ needs.
Taking orders with attention to details (e.g., preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios).
Providing menu recommendations and additional information.
Preparing coffee using various preparation techniques and equipment.
Handling cash and credit transactions.
Maintaining inventory and managing storage and supplies.
Maintaining a safe, healthy, and appealing work environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to pass a pre‑employment (post‑offer) background check.
Experience as a barista preferred.
Effective communication skills in English.
Open availability and flexible schedule for demanding hours.
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Skilled in coffee preparation techniques.
Skilled in operating and maintaining coffee equipment.
Strong sales and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
