Woodfield Country Club is seeking skilled golf course
Grounds Workers and Equipment Operators . Responsibilities include maintaining property grounds and turf in playing condition as directed by supervisors. We provide competitive pay based on experience and skill level. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Connect hoses and sprinkler systems at designated points on the course to irrigate turf.
Plants, trims, and sprays trees and shrubs.
Safely operates equipment such as mowers and pluggers used for course maintenance.
Cleans machinery after each use.
Inspects machinery and reports equipment problems to supervisor.
Loads and unloads materials.
Trims trees and removes cuttings.
Collects and empties litter cans.
Cleans gutters, drains, and culverts.
Mow greens, fairways, tees, and rough.
Operate smaller equipment as directed by supervisor.
Ensures equipment cooling system is working; refills fuel and oil daily; cleans equipment daily; reports problems to Equipment Manager immediately.
Provides basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by manager or supervisor and returns equipment to designated location at maintenance facility.
Performs other duties as directed by supervisor.
Requirements
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Valid and current Florida driver's license.
Experience with driving mowers, tractors, and push mowers.
