Job Description As a Security Professional – Unarmed Patrol Logistics in Portland, OR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols throughout the premises, helping to deter security‑related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. Your role includes engaging with staff and visitors, providing outstanding customer service, and supporting a secure environment. You will be part of a collaborative team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, all while acting with integrity and prioritizing people. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Mon 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM Tue 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM Wed 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM Thur 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM Fri 09:00 PM – 05:00 AM

What You’ll Do
Provide excellent customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, adhering to site‑specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem‑solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the logistics and distribution location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
Monitor the environment for any unusual or suspicious activity and promptly report findings to the appropriate parties.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and security‑related observations as required by site protocols.
Communicate regularly with site personnel and Allied Universal management to relay important information and address any site‑specific needs.
Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or monitoring entry and exit points at the location.
Minimum Requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
