We are seeking an accomplished and motivated Personal Trainer to join our fitness and wellness department. This role is focused on delivering customized, results-oriented fitness experiences that inspire confidence, promote well-being, and reflect the elevated service standards of our club. The ideal candidate will combine a deep knowledge of exercise science with an engaging, professional presence to create a supportive and energizing environment for every member. This is a 1099 position.

Position Responsibilities

Build client base through conducting fitness assessments and demonstrating the value of personal training, including safe and proper exercise techniques.

Design and implement personalized training programs tailored to members' goals, abilities, and preferences.

Motivate and inspire clients to get results through goal setting, frequent follow‑up, and re‑assessments to show progress.

Deliver one‑on‑one and small group sessions with professionalism, motivation and encouragement.

Build meaningful relationships with members, fostering trust and long‑term engagement in their wellness journey.

Collaborate with fitness and spa team to enhance the overall wellness experience at the club.

Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, professionalism, and presentation in all training areas.

Stay current with fitness trends, continuing education and luxury service practices to continually elevate the member experience.

Administer member fitness assessments, including interviews, body composition analysis, strength, endurance and flexibility assessments, along with personalized exercise program development and implementation.

Conduct member orientations, including cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, stretching and recovery guidelines.

Assist in the maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

Attend all scheduled meetings.

Maintain accurate payroll paperwork.

Promote spa services/treatments and fitness programs.

Assist in all areas of spa/sports operations as needed.

Assist other operations with special projects.

Education/Experience/Other Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Current Personal Trainer and/or Group Exercise certification from a nationally accredited institution (e.g., Cooper, AFAA, ACE, ACSM, NASM).

Current CPR/AED certification required.

Provide valid licenses and certifications upon hire date and maintain them throughout employment.

Provide consistent professional personal training sessions in accordance with fitness protocol and accepted certification practices.

Design a safe, effective, and innovative exercise program personalized to the members' fitness levels.

Guide members through fitness tests to establish current level and set safe, effective goals.

Introduce members to cardiovascular and resistance training equipment, explaining safe usage and injury prevention.

Incorporate new techniques, methods and developments into programs.

Show effective listening skills and proficiency in English.

Achieve positive guest relations and maximize guest satisfaction by providing accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests and concerns in a professional manner.

Work independently without constant direct supervision.

Work within a team environment.

Commit to rotating shifts, weekends and holidays.

Attend all team meetings.

Schedule vacations during the off‑season months.

Physical Demands – Ability To

Grasp, lift, push/pull, carry or transport up to 50 lbs.

Push/pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 lbs.

Stand for the length of scheduled shift.

Bend, stoop, kneel and reach with hands and arms.
