Job Description We are a boutique medical aesthetic office with locations in Boerne, TX and Alamo Heights San Antonio offering a wide range of cosmetic and medical services. We are currently seeking an Aesthetician to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Candidate must display positive energy, attention to detail with ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively. Must have great listening skills, verbal and written skills, be computer proficient, self-motivated with strong work ethics.

Aesthetician – Duties and Responsibilities

Greet clients professionally and create a comfortable, safe environment

Conduct skin analyses and client consultations

Discuss client concerns, goals, and treatment options

Develop customized treatment plans based on skin type and condition

Maintain client confidentiality and accurate treatment records

Aesthetic Treatments & Services

Perform facial treatments (cleansing, exfoliation, masks, extractions)

Provide advanced treatments such as chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and LED therapy (where licensed)

Perform hair removal services (waxing, threading, or sugaring)

Provide body treatments such as wraps and scrubs

Educate clients on post-treatment care

Product Knowledge & Retail

Recommend appropriate skincare products and home-care routines

Educate clients on proper product usage and skin healthAssist with retail sales and inventory management

Sanitation & Safety

Follow strict hygiene, sanitation, and infection-control protocols

Clean and sterilize tools, equipment, and treatment rooms

Comply with health, safety, and licensing regulations

Equipment & Facility Maintenance

Operate aesthetic equipment safely and correctly

Perform basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions

Maintain a clean, organized treatment area

Professional Development

Stay current with skincare trends, products, and technologies

Attend training sessions, workshops, and continuing education

Adhere to clinic policies and ethical standards

Administrative Support

Assist with appointment scheduling and client follow-ups

Document treatments and client progress

Support promotional events and marketing initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum two years as an aesthetician is required.

Nationally aesthetician certification must be current and maintained.

Two years' experience in an aesthetic or medical office highly preferred.

High school diploma or GED

Familiarity with medical billing procedures.

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Strong organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a unique environment.

Salary based on experience.

Candidate required to share time between locations.
