Job Description Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Sonography Technologist for the Radiology Department at Overlook Medical Center. Department needs a candidate that can work varied shifts, including weekends and on call.
Job Functions
Qualified candidate will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations utilizing state of the art GE equipment & Siemens equipment.
Candidate is required to perform general ultrasound, paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsies, small parts, breast, OB, pelvic and vascular exams.
Qualifications / Requirements
Effective communications skills and the ability to work well as a team player
Applicant must be comfortable performing exams in an outpatient as well as inpatient and emergency department setting
Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Education
Graduate of Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
License/Certification
ARDMS required
Relevant Experience
The ideal candidate should have 2+ years’ experience preferred
