Tutor - Before/After School Non-Certified Part Time
Job Summary The Before/After-School Certified tutor is responsible for the professional instructions designed to provide academic, social, physical, and skill development for students in specific grades/subject areas to prepare them to be successful citizens and workers.
Responsibilities Provide instructional support to students before and after school, ensuring academic, social, physical, and skill development aligned with district expectations.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree, or two (2) years of college (minimum of 48 semester hours) from an accredited institution, or a passing score on the ParaPro Assessment Test.
One (1) year of experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
Must possess or be able to obtain certification in CPR and First Aid.
Proof of education, training, and/or experience is required.
Degree Equivalency Formula
Bachelor’s Degree = 4 years plus required years of experience.
Master’s Degree = 2 years plus required years of experience. Where Master’s degrees are required, years for Bachelor’s Degrees must be included.
