Job Opening:
Personal Care Aide – must be certified PCA, HHA, or CNA
Branch:
Schenectady, NY
Job Location(s):
clients in the Scotia, NY Glenville, NY area
Available Shifts:
Day shifts, various shift lengths and start times
Hourly Rate:
$18.65/hour
Reliable vehicle & valid driver’s license required.
Clients require assistance with shopping & errands.
If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class.
Flexible scheduling
Paid Time Off (up to 56 hours)
Employee Referral Bonus (up to $600 per referral if hired)
Weekly Paychecks (direct deposit or check)
Paid Travel Time Between Cases
401k & Health Benefits available for qualified employees
Job Duties Your day might include: providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals; tidying their home to keep them healthy and ensuring they follow their medication schedule. Other care may be needed to keep them safe.
Requirements
Must be a certified PCA, HHA, or CNA
Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHA’s – ask us how!
If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class. Ask us how!
Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
Reliable transportation required – either your own car, a reliable driver, or ridesharing. You must be able to get to work on your own.
Must be 18 or older
