STEM and Technology Summer Camp Teacher – Black Rocket Productions

Overview We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated, and talented individuals to work as Lead Instructors in our Summer programs.
Seasonal position 4–10 weeks starting in June, in‑room with kids ages 6‑11 or 8‑14. No formal experience required. Paid training!
Responsibilities
Instruct and engage students in technology‑based classes such as coding, game creation, robotics, 3D modeling, digital arts, video editing, and robotics.
Lead classes of up to 12 kids solo and up to 25 kids with an assistant.
Manage and safely transfer equipment between sites as needed.
Create a fun, supportive learning environment and promote critical thinking and creativity.
Requirements
21 years of age or older.
Located within driving distance of one of our partner regions and reliable transportation.
Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work Monday–Friday for a minimum of 4 weeks.
Must love working with kids.
Preferred Qualifications
College graduate with a degree in education, digital arts, computer science, information technology or related field, or significant work experience.
Experience teaching or working with children in a classroom, volunteering, childcare, tutoring, or coaching is an advantage.
Strong technology skills: coding (Python, Javascript, Lua), game creation (Roblox, Minecraft), 3D modeling, robotics, video editing, animation, etc.
Availability to start online training in May prior to the start of summer.
Compensation and Benefits
Rate: $17–$22 per hour, depending on experience, location, and availability.
Potential opportunities to move into supervisory roles in future years.
