Job Summary The Gas Laborer/Groundman supports general labor duties, including restoration work such as clean‑up and laying sod at the end of a project.
Responsibilities
Be available for any unskilled tasks, such as job‑site cleanup and laying sod.
Adhere to basic safety policies.
Observe and learn skilled tasks, such as fusing of pipe.
Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma, or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
1 or more years of related experience.
Physical Demands and Work Environment This job operates in a field environment and routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, and twisting, as well as working in inclement weather conditions such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Requires clear vision at 20 feet or more or 20 inches or less, with the ability to judge distance and space relationships. Requires precise hand‑eye coordination and the ability to identify and distinguish colors.
