Associate Tool & Gauge Technician

Job Summary In the role of an entry-level Associate Tool and Gauge Technician, your responsibilities include calibrating and adjusting gauges to adhere to the standards set by manufacturing, assembly, and test departments. You are also responsible for managing electronic inventory records through SAP or similar systems, as well as maintaining accurate calibration records for all gauges issued, returned, or serviced by internal departments and external vendors.
Roles And Responsibilities
Ability to use gauge blocks, horizontal trimos and other gauge setting devices.
Handle the receiving, handling, storing, issuing and delivery of perishable tooling, fixtures, gages, shop supplies, and safety items (PPE).
Ability to take direction and work in a team environment engaging with both internal and external associates.
Frequent heavy lifting and standing for prolonged periods.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge with SAP, Indy Soft.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Knowledge with Compounds: paint, chemicals
Proficiency in gage setting, perishable cutting tools, grinding wheels, fixtures, and abrasive products.
Forklift certification, or capability to acquire one.
