Lead Infant & Toddler & Primary Assistants Mandarin or Spanish Teacher
Join Amici Trilingual Montessori—a Montessori preschool in Phoenix, AZ that offers full‑language immersion in Mandarin, Spanish, and English. We are seeking an experienced Infant Montessori Teacher who speaks Spanish to lead the Infant/Toddler classroom and support our multicultural curriculum.
Responsibilities
Build social and emotional skills by modeling positive relationships with children, families, and teachers.
Develop intellectual and cognitive abilities through the correct, respectful use of Montessori materials and developmentally appropriate activities.
Foster creative, fine‑motor, and large‑motor skills through art, music, sensory, and outdoor play.
Encourage a love and respect for nature, self, and the environment by weekly outdoor classroom attendance.
Prepare and maintain the classroom environment in true Montessori fashion—clean, safe, organized, and fully supplied.
Communicate effectively with parents and director, serving as the main point of contact for all assistant teachers.
Qualifications
Fluent in Spanish (required).
Montessori Certification—AMS or AMI in Infant/Toddler (required).
At least 1 year of experience teaching in a Montessori classroom and a lead teaching role (required).
At least 1 year of experience working with young children in a licensed early childhood center (required).
Strong understanding of the Montessori Method and ability to implement culturally responsive techniques.
Excellent written and oral communication skills (required).
Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education preferred.
Schedule & Salary
Full‑time, 8‑hour shift Monday‑Friday.
Salary: $13.50 – $17.50 per hour (up to $17.50 an hour).
Location: In person, Phoenix, AZ.
