We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the knowledge necessary to install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems. However, we also welcome applicants who are eager to learn and have a strong work ethic, even if they have little to no experience.
This position will be stationed at one property full-time, working alongside a team of 12 technicians to ensure the property is properly maintained. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities
Perform regular inspections of irrigation systems to identify potential problems or inefficiencies
Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues, such as leaks, clogs, and broken components
Repair and maintain irrigation systems, including sprinklers, drip lines, and valves
Replace damaged or malfunctioning equipment
Identify areas that are too wet or too dry and make recommendations
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to irrigation installation and repair
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project
Replace irrigation heads and nozzles
Follow proper safety standards
Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service
Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
Participate in continuous training and development activities
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
Strong mechanical knowledge related to irrigation systems is essential; excellent problem‑solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Experience working with Mechanical Joints (MJ) is a plus
Expertise in wire/valve tracking/replacement and timer maintenance is a plus
Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service
Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
