Position Summary Performs all aspects of icing and decorating cake, packaging finished product, and changeover activities to maintain world‑class quality and support the plant’s Safety, Quality & Reliability (SQR) goals. Responsibilities
Operate and maintain assigned machines and related equipment to meet daily orders.
Finish icing, garnishing, or decorating cakes to specified standards.
Manually disassemble and assemble equipment.
Participate in product change‑over activities to keep equipment sanitized and allergen‑free.
Assist in hand‑packing and hand‑stacking product or cases.
Safely operate material‑handling equipment and cardboard baler.
Follow all standard work processes.
Verify proper components at the workstation before starting a job.
Monitor product to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
Complete “If down, do” list when appropriate.
Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and legibly.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Actively participate in Total Process Control activities.
Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the SQF 2000 Systems.
Essential Job Functions
Accountable to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Basic math skills.
Effective written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Flexible to rotate to any station on the line.
Previous Job Experience
Previous food manufacturing experience.
