Responsibilities Responsibilities include keeping hotel public areas clean such as hallways, meeting rooms, lobby, fitness center, patio area, pool area, and exterior of our hotel. You will also support housekeeping by delivering items requested by guests such as amenities, cribs, and bedding to guest rooms, and completing any special projects assigned by housekeeping managers. You may also encounter some maintenance issues that you may need to resolve.
Anticipate, listen intently, and respond quickly to visitors' requirements to provide the best quality of service
Begin each shift by visiting assigned floors and collect trash, dirty linen, and other materials as instructed by management
Clean and maintain guest rooms, hallways, furnishings, flooring, lobby, and other work areas
Retrieve clean linens from housekeeping storage facilities and distribute them to each floor
Deliver requested amenities such as cribs, blankets, towels, etc.
Qualifications
Graduated high school, received GED or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience as a houseperson or housekeeper preferred
Good understanding of cleaning techniques and products
Solid work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
Compensation $12 hourly
