Blood Product Storage & Distribution Technician (1st Shift)

This role supports the processing, packaging, and shipping of blood products and samples for hospital orders. You will receive, triage, pack and ship products, maintain traceability records, and occasionally make hospital deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

Determine suitability of products/samples for distribution and meet production goals.

Perform inventory management practices throughout manufacturing and shipping.

Prioritize workload to meet production and customer requirements.

Execute data entry for manufacturing, labeling, storage, ordering, and shipping while maintaining accurate records.

Analyze and make decisions based on visual inspection and information from other departments to meet time and quality standards.

Identify, quarantine, and dispose of products/samples that fail quality requirements.

Perform hospital deliveries as assigned.

Standard Schedule Sunday – Thursday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

Pay Information $18/hour, plus shift differentials for nights, weekends, and over‑nights.

What You Need to Succeed

High School diploma or equivalent.

Preferred: Two years’ experience in a regulatory, distribution or manufacturing environment; alternatively, equivalent education and experience.

Strong computer skills, attention to detail, accurate documentation, and good decision‑making skills.

Physical Requirements Standing, stretching, stooping, and bending for extended periods; lifting, pulling, pushing, and moving up to 50 lb; work in walk‑in refrigerator/freezers; wear protective clothing (lab coat, gloves, face shield, etc.).
