IT Support Technician

This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining end‑user computer systems and related equipment to ensure reliable day‑to‑day operations. The position serves as a primary point of contact for technical support, assisting users with hardware, software, and connectivity issues while contributing to the overall effectiveness of the IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, and software
Provide in‑person and remote technical support to end users
Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network connectivity issues
Set up new user accounts, email, and required applications
Track and prioritize support requests using a ticketing system
Maintain accurate hardware inventory and documentation
Educate users on basic troubleshooting and best practices
Assist with documentation and standard operating procedures
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred
2+ years of experience in IT or desktop support
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and office applications
Working knowledge of Active Directory, DNS concepts, and VPNs
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Valid state‑issued driver's license required
Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Microsoft, etc.) are a plus
Estimated Min Rate : $22.00
Estimated Max Rate : $25.00
