CDL A Local Petroleum Tanker Truck Driver

Pay and Compensation Base hourly rate: $26.50/hr – $31.75/hr (depending on experience). Guaranteed weekly pay of $1,100, with potential to earn up to $100,000 annually. Additional pay includes a $0.68 per mile practical rate loaded and empty and supplemental pay for safety and driver referral programs.

Hiring Requirements
Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements
Class A CDL without restrictions: Manual (E), Air brakes (L,Z), Night driving (G), No semi‑trailer (O), Intrastate only (K) or Medical variance (M)
Clean motor vehicle license
Minimum 12 months of recent driving experience; 2 years of recent driving preferred; at least 12 months of tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years; experience with a minimum 36‑ft trailer
TWIC required for OTR drivers
Valid DOT medical card
Pass a urine drug test
English proficiency required
Eligible to work in the United States
Core Responsibilities
Maintain availability to meet customer pickup and delivery schedules
Submit customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area
Inspect vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure safety, legality, and security
Maintain a driver’s log in accordance with DOT regulations
