Job Description As an Equinox Pilates Instructor, you’ll develop and refine programs under guidance from a dedicated Pilates manager, focusing on maximizing both personal and client potential.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop a safe, professional, comprehensive Pilates training program for each client.
Conduct initial client assessment and goal setting to recommend a training program.
Instruct private, duet, and semi‑private sessions.
Collaborate with the Pilates Manager to grow your client base.
Complete all administrative requirements associated with client management.
Coordinate with other club departments to provide a well‑rounded experience.
Deliver excellent customer service to all members and guests.
Maintain consistent client activity to help achieve results.
Participate in ongoing training and development.
Maintain studio and equipment cleanliness.
Qualifications
Graduated from a comprehensive Pilates teacher training program or certified on all Pilates apparatus.
Minimum of 400 hours of Pilates education completed through a certification program.
Valid copy of Pilates certification(s) to provide upon request.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Essential Physical Requirements
Standing, sitting, and walking.
Squatting, bending, and reaching.
Pushing, pulling, and ability to safely spot and correct clients.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $45–$62 per session; $17.87 per hour for non‑session work; incentive bonuses available.
