Services Provided Caring Transitions of Virginia Beach East specializes in organizing, downsizing, space planning, move management, and relocating seniors to new beginnings. Through our online estate sales platform, CTBids, we liquidate treasured belongings and turn them into profit to support clients’ transitions.

What You’ll Be Doing
Client Home Work
Organize, pack, and assist clients with unpacking and resettling in their new living space.
Sort items for estate liquidation: selling, recycling, donations, disposal, and clean‑outs.
Stand for long periods, bend, kneel, climb stairs, no lifting over 30 lb, hang items at or above 4 ft, pack/unpack and label boxes.
Use professional movers for furniture and heavy items.
Comfortable working in cluttered or dirty environments; work gloves, aprons, etc. provided.
Online Auction Preparation (CTBids)
Sort, organize, research, label, and handle items for re‑sale.
Understand the value of people’s treasures.
Use a smart device to photograph, create descriptions, and post items for sale.
Be available for on‑site auction pick‑ups and assist buyers during pickup days.
Help ship items purchased through online auctions.
Follow best practices, health and safety requirements, and company guidelines.
Interact with clients, their families, customers, and coworkers while providing a high level of customer service.
Who We’re Looking For
Team players who are reliable, trustworthy, and punctual.
Positive and friendly with excellent customer service skills.
Stamina to lift 30 lb, stand, bend, and climb stairs.
Adaptable and able to work in various environments.
Any experience is welcome; experience with older adults, customer service, or care‑related roles is a plus.
Must‑Haves
Ability to prioritize tasks, adapt to new situations, solve problems, and work productively with your team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; English fluency.
Proficiency with smartphones and apps for scheduling, time‑keeping, project management, and online auctions.
Age 18+, valid driver’s license, reliable transportation to various job site locations throughout Virginia Beach, Alanton, Pungo, Norfolk, and surrounding areas.
Must pass a pre‑employment background check and be ready to start training immediately.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive client information.
Position Details
Job type: Part‑time
Pay: $14 starting pay; evaluation after 90 days
Benefits: Flexible schedule that fits your busy lifestyle.
Schedule: Daytime hours, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays.
Work hours: 4–6 hour shifts; project‑based and may be 10–30+ hours per week with other weeks having zero or minimal hours.
Availability: Must be available for CTBids online auction pickups.
Variety: No two client jobs are exactly alike.
