About The Role We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and motivated FSQA Technician to join our team! In this role, you’ll help ensure our products are safe, wholesome, and meet all food safety and quality standards. You’ll play an essential part in maintaining compliance with FDA, USDA, and third‑party audit requirements while supporting our commitment to excellence in every product we make.
What You’ll Do
Perform food safety and quality checks, including temperature, product inspection, and label verification
Monitor and document GMPs, pre‑op inspections, and sanitation verification
Conduct receiving checks, finished product checks, and internal audits (glass, light, etc.)
Collect and handle samples for microbiological testing, water sampling, and product retention
Verify monitoring procedures and assist with hold/release activities
Support investigations for non‑conformances and rework processes
Maintain accurate and complete FSQA records in compliance with regulatory standards
Participate in continuous improvement of food safety and quality programs
What You Bring
Associate degree in Food Science, Biology, Life Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field – or at least 2 years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong understanding of regulatory and food safety standards
Computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel)
Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written SOPs and policies
Prior experience in the food manufacturing industry preferred
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs
Use of hands, eyes, and ears for inspections and sensory evaluations
Ability to adjust focus and differentiate colors
