Responsibilities
Performing tire repairs, rotations and replacement
Performing oil changes and fluid services
Replacing air, cabin and fuel filters
Conducting visual inspections of the vehicle for signs of wear or damage
Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries
Using proper equipment for fluid services such as coolant, brake, and transmission
Applying lubricants to various vehicle components as needed
Complete mandatory vehicle inspection forms during oil changes and repairs
Communicate vehicle repair recommendations effectively with service advisor
Qualifications
1+ years of working in a service shop
Personal tools are preferred but not required
Willingness to pursue TIA certification with company support and assistance
Willingness to learn new skills as a technician such as wheel alignments, brake system repair and suspension replacement
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform physically demanding tasks
Manual Dexterity: Skill in handling tools and performing precise tasks with hands
Attention to Detail: Precision in inspecting and repairing vehicles and ensuring personal safety
Teamwork: Ability to work well in a team, contributing to a cooperative work environment
