Elementary Classroom Assistant
The Kirkwood School District is hiring Classroom Assistants to support our Elementary Schools during the 2024/2025 school year.
Classroom Assistants support the Elementary School classroom by working with students, supporting instruction, and working closely with Teachers. Classroom supervision and some clerical work are a part of this role.
Responsibilities
Work with students in elementary classrooms
Support instruction and work closely with teachers
Provide classroom supervision and perform clerical tasks
Qualifications
Two years of college (at least 60 college credit hours) or associate degree and 1 year of related work experience, or a bachelor's degree in education, special education, or a related field.
College coursework related to early childhood, education, or special education (preferred).
CPR certification and first aid training (preferred).
Salary and Employment Base pay: $18.52/hr. Positions are part-time, 10-month assignments, during 2024/2025 school year, or until filled.
