Job Summary
The Custodian / Cleaner will be responsible for the overall cleanliness of all areas of the facility to ensure a positive member experience.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Thoroughly clean and sanitize restrooms, locker room areas, fitness equipment and gym floor.
Stock locker rooms with proper supplies/paper products.
Properly dispose of trash and maintain the trash cans.
Clean/dust items high off the ground (i.e., ceiling fans, TVs, rafters).
Report any broken or missing amenities or equipment (toilets, faucets, showers, hair dryers, gym equipment etc.) to the Club Manager.
Follow “Lost and Found Policy” and turn in lost member property to Club Manager or Assistant Club Manager immediately.
Qualifications & Requirements
Custodial experience preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Punctuality and reliability are mandatory.
Honesty and exceptional work ethic.
Ability to solve problems independently.
Diplomatic in all interactions with appropriate behavior and language.
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Physical Demands
Continual standing and walking during shift.
Occasionally lift over 80 pounds.
Encounter toxic chemicals.
Frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
Require bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, twisting, etc.
