BARISTA (FULL TIME)

Location: Under Armour Starbucks – 101 Performance Drive, Baltimore, Maryland 21230.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 am–4:30 pm (full time). Details discussed during interview.
Pay Range: $16.00–$17.00 per hour.
Requirement: Prior barista experience preferred.
Job Summary Makes and serves coffee/espresso drinks and related food and beverage items. Handles food according to HACCP guidelines and quality standards. Interacts with customers and employees in a friendly, courteous manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Prepares espresso orders for customers and catering using standard measures and recipes.
Enters orders accurately into POS device; accepts cash and charge payments.
Replenishes condiments, beverages and supplies while maintaining cleanliness of service area.
Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and service temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
Maintains sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies and utensils.
Ensures proper food preparation using approved recipes and production standards.
Keeps display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service.
Clears equipment and workstation before leaving area for other assignments.
Greets customers courteously; relays concerns to supervisors.
Serves customers quickly and efficiently, preventing delays in serving lines.
Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and explains them accurately.
Actively promotes selling techniques to support customer decision making.
Ensures all display foods are merchandised attractively; serves food neatly and attractively.
Performs other duties as assigned.
