Carlie C’s IGA is seeking an experienced Meat Cutter for a full‑time position in the Grocery Store Meat Market environment. Candidates must have prior experience cutting all cuts of beef, pork, and chicken, using equipment such as band saws, slicers, cubers, grinders, and knives. Wrapping skills are required, and candidates must maintain all sanitation and safety requirements. The role includes 40 hours per week, including weekends and most holidays. Outstanding customer service is a top priority.
Duties
Cutting, grinding, slicing, trimming, weighing, sealing, packaging and labeling product.
Unload trucks, store in proper place. *Check product dates, rotate properly.
Sanitize and clean equipment. *Keep meat department floors clean of clutter.
Assist customers in finding products; wait on them at counter timely and cheerfully.
Qualifications
Must be able to lift 80 lbs with no assistance.
Must be at least 18 years of age, friendly, outgoing, neat and clean in appearance.
Must enjoy working with the public.
Must be very customer oriented.
Must be able to read shelf tags, labels and signs.
Must have a good work record as a Meat Cutter.
