Tony’s Muscle Cars is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to work out of our shop in Hazleton, PA. This role is ideal for someone passionate about vintage automobiles and skilled in classic car restoration, working with a collector of 1950s‑1980s era muscle cars. Duties Overview
Install and modify a range of parts including vintage air systems, American Auto wire harnesses, EFI systems, LS/Coyote swaps, modern/digital gauges, air‑ride suspension, lifts, disc brake conversion kits, modern radios, etc. Efficiently and accurately perform vehicle upgrades and/or maintenance. Troubleshoot and repair major and minor mechanical and electrical repairs. Communicate with management to obtain needed parts, advise of additional problems, and obtain approval on repairs. Possess mechanical knowledge and understand the components of a vehicle. Document work performed by typing notes and taking pictures. Embrace new methods with little to no hesitation. Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines. Be willing to be universal in mechanical and fabrication when needed. Minimum Qualifications
In‑depth knowledge of vintage automobiles and trucks, covering mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Experience in restorations of various types of cars. Self‑motivated and goal‑oriented individual with a strong automotive background. Have own tools necessary to perform automotive repairs and diagnosis. Strong willingness to learn and ability to take direction and ask questions. Team player who can maintain a positive attitude and recover quickly from setbacks. Benefit Highlights
