Student Assistant - Innovation & Research Commons: Adobe Creative Space
The Adobe Creative Space of the Innovation & Research Commons is an open-access learning space in the RBD Library dedicated to providing Auburn students, faculty, and staff with digital creation skills and technology.
Job Summary The role involves providing multimedia and graphic design educational support to Auburn students, faculty, and staff using Adobe Creative Cloud applications. Responsibilities include assisting users in person and via Zoom, supporting technology use in the Adobe Creative Space, and contributing to instructional content and events.
Essential Functions
Provide multimedia and graphic design educational support in the Adobe Creative Space.
Assist users in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud in-person or through Zoom consultations and small group instruction.
Assist with technology in the Adobe Creative Space such as AV presentation systems and computing hardware.
Assist with live instruction, workshops, instructional sessions, and Adobe-related events.
Help develop, curate, and maintain instructional content on the academic application of Adobe apps.
Continuously learn and apply advances in Adobe Creative Cloud.

Minimum Qualifications
Enrolled undergraduate student at Auburn University.
Expectations
Report for the shift on time.
Show interest in public service and delivery of quality customer service.
Work as a team member while interacting with faculty, staff, and students.
Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Exhibit dependability, multi-tasking, and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Have some experience using Adobe Creative Cloud.
Have some knowledge of design principles.
Be motivated to learn.
Job frequently requires standing, walking, reaching, balancing, hearing, handling objects with hands, and occasionally lifting.
Preferred Qualifications
Extensive experience using Adobe Creative Cloud applications.
Extensive knowledge of design principles.
Pay and Hours Pay Rate: $9.00 per hour. Work Hours vary up to 20 hours per week depending on department needs. Typical schedule: 8:00 – 10:00 AM Monday–Thursday, 8:00 – 6:00 PM Friday, 1:00 – 10:00 PM Sunday. Position is located in Auburn, Alabama.
